Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the GTM Helper Chrome extension (“Extension”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of service

GTM Helper is a browser extension that helps users mark elements on web pages and create corresponding events and tags in Google Tag Manager (GTM). The Extension connects to your Google account via Google’s OAuth to access GTM on your behalf when you request it.

3. Use of the Extension

You may use the Extension only in compliance with these Terms, Google’s Terms of Service, and applicable laws. You are responsible for how you use the Extension and for any tags or events you create in your GTM container. Do not use the Extension to collect or process data in violation of any privacy policy or regulation.

4. Google services

Use of Google Tag Manager and related Google services is subject to Google’s terms and policies. The Extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially supported by Google. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or changes to Google’s services.

5. Disclaimer

The Extension is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, secure, or suitable for your purposes. Use at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension or from any data or tags created with it.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Contact

For questions about these Terms of Service, contact the developer at the email address shown on the extension’s Chrome Web Store page or on this site.
